Cardinal Health PAC

About Cardinal Health PAC

Founded in 1999, Cardinal Health PAC supports state and federal candidates who understand our issues and our industry. While the PAC is administratively supported by Cardinal Health, it is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from employees. Cardinal Health does not contribute corporate funds to political candidates.

The Cardinal Health PAC’s mission statement is to support the political campaigns of those candidates who understand the issues critical to Cardinal Health and each of our respective healthcare related industries. Public policy decisions made at all levels of government affect the way we run our business and impact our industry as a whole. Cardinal Health PAC helps to make sure elected officials understand the complex challenges and opportunities facing Cardinal Health and our industry.

Cardinal Health PAC allows us to support candidates and key policymakers who support Cardinal Health’s mission, business goals, and, most importantly, the best interests of our customers and employees.

Frequently asked questions

PACs were created by the United States Congress as a legal way for corporations to make contributions to political campaigns. PACs pool voluntary contributions from people with common interests to support political candidates and other PACs. PACs are among the most highly regulated, strictly limited, and fully accountable methods of campaign finance. There are set limits on contributions and all contributions must be publicly reported annually.

Cardinal Health salaried employees, stakeholders, and families of both are eligible to contribute to the Cardinal Health PAC.
